GlaxoSmithKline Showcase

Panther provided local production services to 3Rock who produced this show for GlaxoSmithKline, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry.

The key challenge on this project was a design which completely transformed each hotel ballroom used in the show. The ballrooms were on the third floor and was serviced by a very small elevator and a series of tight, convoluted hallways.

All of the scenery and drapes were cream-coloured, so a high level of protection and care were essential to keep the show from looking like a collection of dirty laundry.

The final effect was spectacular; creative sound and lighting kept the look and mood of the room changing like a chameleon to support the presentations.

A showcase area was also created in rooms overlooking the harbour. 70 case studies from around the world were presented as a way to showcase GSK's team-based approach to problem-solving.
