Street Angels Benefit Gala

Street Angels is a Vancouver-based, grassroots international aid organization. It helps impoverished women in the slums of Brazil keep their children off the streets, safe at home, healthy and in school.

Panther Management has supported Street Angels since 2002 with office space and staff assistance, and produces their annual fundraising Gala Event, donating a complete production team and stagehand crew.

As Street Angels aims to put every possible cent straight to work on the ground in Brazil, Panther has helped to design an event that transforms the Westin Bayshore into a gala event on what Street Angels proudly advertises as a shoestring budget.

For the 2009 event, given Street Angels' commitment to reducing their carbon footprint wherever possible, we redesigned the event's sound system and moved the event to an all-LED lighting design to reduce power consumption.
